The Judo Club Costa Teguise Lanzarote (CJCT) has won two medals, one gold and one bronze, in the 'Spanish Super Cup Absolute' for men and women, VII International Judo Trophy held at the Pavillon de Deportes Colexio San Narciso de Marín, Pontevedra (Galicia).

Among the results obtained, the meritorious fifth place of Xerach Hernández Pérez (66 kg) stands out. While the judokas of the CJCT in the 73 kg category managed to climb both to the podium. On the one hand, Diego Fernández Campillo obtained the bronze and Álvaro Cano Martos became national champion, hanging the gold around his neck.

For the director of the CJCT, Antonio Ramírez, “the harvest obtained by the Judo Club Costa Teguise in Galicia is a good example for the island to feel proud of its effort and its
results. At the same time, it is an invaluable boost for the entire CJCT quarry, which, in this way, gets more role models to look at with respect that will serve as a guide for
to continue growing as judokas and as people. Congratulations to our representatives,” concludes Antonio Ramírez.
