Jesús García Takes Over Magec Tías Against Gender Violence

Replaces Cristo González, who has completed his time at the head of the team

Club Deportivo Magec Tías has appointed Jesús García as the new coach of the entity's first women's team, which plays in the Women's League 2. The coach replaces Cristo González, who has completed his time at the head of the team.

Jesús García returns to the first team's bench after leaving the national team at the end of last season and taking the position of sports director. It should be remembered that the Tenerife coach will experience his third stage at the command of the Women's League 2 bench, after joining the club in the 2019/2020 season. After a one-year break, he returned to lead the way from 2021/2022 until the end of last season, fulfilling the objective of permanence.

The team, which is currently out of the relegation zone with a balance of 6 wins and 11 losses, faces the second part of the season with optimism and confidence. Jesús García will take over the reins of the first team until the end of the current season with the aim of staying in the salvation zone at the end of the season in the Women's League 2.

The next challenge for Magec Tías Against Gender Violence will be this weekend, when they travel to Catalan lands to face Robles Lleida, a team that occupies sixth place in the standings, with 8 wins and 9 losses.
