After competing in the Spanish Cups in Getafe and Granadilla, the fifteen child and cadet judokas from CJCT swept the Island Games and will travel to the Gran Canaria Sports City next Sunday, March 23, to, each in their weight category, seek in the Canary Islands Championship the passport to the Spanish Championship to be held in Zaragoza on April 27.
The head of the Teguise entity, Antonio Ramírez, congratulates "the youth academy of the Costa Teguise Lanzarote Judo Club after the unbeatable role played in the Island Games where one hundred percent of our judokas have qualified, the fifteen who attended, got the pass to the Canary Islands Championship. Now it's time to fight in Gran Canaria on Sunday in search of a place for the Spanish Championship."
Ramírez recalls that "it is being an intense quarter. In addition to the success at the island level and hopefully, at the level of the Canary Islands, of our youth academy, our Senior judokas compete in various Open and European Cups (Slovenia, Warsaw, Croatia...) and the National Club League in the First Division, the highest category of Judo in Spain where we continue for another year, chaining nineteen years in a row", concludes Antonio Ramírez.
