The Lanzarote club achieved victory against Las Torres (4-3) and Hinojeros Granadilla (7-0), in the match held in the town of Ribadeo, in Lugo.
Auria Bádminton Club's participation in the Segunda División Oro began on Saturday afternoon with a match against Las Torres, which the island team won by a narrow margin of 4-3. Miguel Barbado secured a point in the men's singles, defeating Ángel Rodríguez (11-8, 11-2, 11-10), and in the women's singles, Sara Vianelli and Margot Barbosa added two points by beating Claudia Teruel (11-10, 9-11, 11-3, 9-11, 11-4) and Candela Martínez (11-3, 11-7, 11-4), respectively.
The fourth point of this first encounter was won by the men's doubles team of Martín Barbado and Miguel Barbado, who defeated Alejandro Pérez and Pedro Sánchez (11-4, 11-6, 11-4). This weekend also marked the debut of Auria "B" and Auria "C" in the Liga Nacional Segunda Territorial, participating in the first round that took place on Saturday on the island of Tenerife. Auria "B" was defeated in all three of its matches against Uni Drop (0-5), Gran "K" Top Spin (2-3), and Víctor Team (2-3).
For its part, Auria "C" also fell defeated in its three matches against Bádminton La Palma (0-5), Uni Lob (0-5), and Tenzul El Rosario "D" (0-5).
