The Club de Lucha Unión Norte certified its classification for the final of the XXXI Torneo Isla de Lanzarote, repeating victory in the return match of the semifinals against CL Unión Sur Yaiza. The southerners, despite being diminished by the casualties, did not give their arm to twist and made their defeat expensive in the two fights held against the northerners. Aitor Lorenzo and Marcial Viñoly, separated in the penultimate fight of the night and Juan Antonio Ramírez gave the victory to CL Unión Norte by leaving the young Álvaro Torres out of the fight in the last confrontation. CL Unión Norte will face CL Tao in the grand final of the Torneo Isla de Lanzarote.
The first chairs were dominated by CL Unión Norte, with the youth wrestlers putting the first points on the scoreboard in favor of the northerners. Alberto de León, Bentejuí Curbelo and Joel Curbelo, were in charge of putting the 3 to 0 on the scoreboard. The first point of CL Unión Sur Yaiza was achieved by Josué Cedrés, giving the two in a row to Alberto de León. Next, Tinguaro de León eliminated Alejandro Betancort in the third fight, putting a clear 4 to 1 in favor of Unión Norte.
The advantage of CL Unión Norte continued to increase thanks to the good work of David Romero and Rubén Niz. The southerners narrowed the differences through Maikel Umpiérrez, giving the two in a row to the youth Joel Curbelo. David Romero, captain of CL Unión Norte, gave the two in a row to Josué Cedrés, leaving out one of the Highlights "D" of CL Unión Sur Yaiza. Rubén Niz did the same with José Juan Reguera and established the 6 to 2 on the scoreboard of the Luis Montero arena.
CL Unión Sur Yaiza would put the tie on the scoreboard with the contribution of Maikel Umpiérrez, Marcial Viñoly and Francis García "Curry".
