We highlight the magnificent and historic achievement of Miguel Martínez, who finished eighth in the overall figures standings among the 247 athletes who participated, and who has also been selected for the first training camp of the Spanish national team, which is currently taking place at the CAR in Barcelona.

On this occasion, Vega Martínez and Eduardo Curbelo with Laura Alemán as a reserve, obtained fourth place.

Once again, the fruits of the excellent work done by the technical team of Club Pingüinos, led by its technical director Sylvia Hernández, are visible, with Alessandra Mauri and Ibon García at poolside, the collaboration of Nayara Peña, and Arantxa Quesada's training in gymnastics.

These achievements would not be possible without the economic support and grants from RCNA, Cabildo de Lanzarote, EPEL, Arrecife City Council, Teguise City Council, and Yaiza City Council, without which the existence of the Pingüinos de Arrecife club would be impossible
