This Friday, an expedition formed by 34 cadets and pre-cadets from CD Magec Tías are heading to the United States, where they will put the finishing touch to the 22/23 season, with plans to arrive in New York around 7:15 p.m.

The expedition, which is accompanied by five monitors and a director of the Tías entity, will land in the land of stars and stripes after making a stopover in Gran Canaria, Madrid and Dublin, before touching North American soil, where they will rest on Saturday to begin the adventure on Sunday, doing so with strong sensations.

The first dish they will enjoy in The City that never sleeps will be to experience the WNBA match between the New York Liberty and the Phoenix Mercury. After the match they will visit Central Park, the official NBA store, Fifth Avenue, Madison, Rockefeller Center or St. Patrick before reaching the Empire State Building, ending with a night walk through Time Square.

On Monday, the Magec Tías youth academy and their companions will visit State Island with the Statue of Liberty, the mythical street basketball court of The Cage, Ground Zero, Wall Street, cross the Brooklyn Bridge, visit China Town, Little Italy, Brian Park, the New York Library, the UN Central Station and end in Time Square, with a daytime visit, before embarking on a trip to Pennsylvania.

They will take the opportunity to visit Philadelphia and Washington, having time for fun in Hershey Park or visiting one of the best-known Outlets. The sports part will also be important, playing a tournament from Friday, June 23 to Sunday, June 25, changing cities once it is over, to go to Buffalo, where they will visit Niagara Falls, both at night and during the day.

They will also go to the University of Syracuse and New Jersey, the last stop before starting the return trip on Tuesday the 27th, landing on Wednesday the 28th, at 11:20 p.m. in Lanzarote. It will be twelve intense days of travel, transfers, learning, culture, sports, shopping, fun and companionship that cadets and pre-cadets will not forget in this end of season.
