The judoka from Lanzarote, Asier Morales Cubas, was proclaimed runner-up in the Spanish Cup in the cadet category of over 90 kilos, in the championship held on December 13, 2025, in Granadilla de Abona (Tenerife).
Morales Cubas, a native of Tinajo and a member of the Costa Teguise Judo Club, had an outstanding performance throughout the day, competently winning his bouts to reach the final of his category. Finally, he took home the silver medal, establishing himself as one of the most promising judokas on the national scene for his weight and age
