The approximately twenty teams participating in the 26th Isla de Los Volcanes-Ciudad de Arrecife Land Rally Trophy already had their first dose of action on Thursday morning. The participants traveled to the municipality of Teguise to participate in the official test of the Lanzarote event. All of them had three hours of filming on the Famara section, one of the most spectacular on the island.
The internationals invited by Club Deportivo Evesport, Yohan Rossel and Florian Barral, made their first contact with the conejera gravel in the test session. Those of the Citroën C3 Rally2 accumulated valuable kilometers to optimize their preparation for the third round of the Spanish Gravel Rally Cup (CERT). The candidates for the national title, led by Alexander Villanueva and José Murado, also advanced an important part of the work in the test.
The athletes registered in the Lanzarote event are dedicating the afternoon to recognitions. Optionally, they have the opportunity to start noting the details of each of the specials until 8:00 p.m. As stipulated by the CERT regulations, contestants have an established limit of two passes to each timed section and always at a speed of less than 50 kilometers per hour.
