From Hay Proyecto en Tías (HPET), which is the name of the political organization I am proud to belong to, we are surprised by the behavior shown by the current political managers of the municipality of Tías in the face of the various requests made regarding various urban planning issues (Fariones, San Antonio, etc.), the current situation of the Local Police (intervention objection to the payment of overtime), the administrative bottleneck (numerous unresolved files) experienced in the Technical Office of the council, etc.
We demand to know in depth in order to draw firm and well-founded conclusions in order to present them publicly. To date, we have not made any accusations or promoted speculation about the existence of irregularities.
We simply don't know... And we want to know, to understand... And we want to understand from the right to that knowledge... Our commitment to citizens remains intact, without hesitation. There are no hidden meanings, we only "demand to be well informed." Therefore, we cannot understand the unnecessary delays we are experiencing when transparency is proclaimed on the other hand. If everything complies with the regulations and the required procedure has been respected, there will be nothing to fear.
On the other hand, it would not be fair to attribute this lack of clarity exclusively to the current government group, since, for example, in the matter of the Fariones works, the previous government group did not show much willingness to collaborate with us either. Nor did it do so on other matters (accessibility, social services, etc.). Anyway...
Now we find ourselves with the same attitude.... We are here to sit down and listen and help, but from clarity and respect. "We are the ones who have asked eight times for the FARIONES file..., but also many more things..." Let's hope there isn't a ninth time, or a tenth... We don't feel like looking the other way.
Agustín Enrique García Acosta, president of HPET
