Europe is not only old. Its heart is starting to fail.
And the memory.
Syria welcomed her in bad times.
When it was anything but "Union" and was bleeding.
And she pays for it with tear gas on the defenseless children of Syria.
I don't know.
Imagine, for a moment, that you were the one in line behind those walls more like prisons than borders. As if the humiliation in itself were small.
Those walls. That are of thorns and let you peek out to see what's on the other side, a false paradise set up like a showcase of an expensive firm, which you can never reach.
Imagine you are the one in that line.
That it is not to buy bread.
But it is to have the possibility of taking it to your mouth.
Imagine.
For a moment.
That you have the task of falling on the B side of this world so little equitable.
I don't know.
Put yourself for a moment in the skin that you have been lucky enough not to inhabit.
And even if it is, give thanks because your dramas are authentic stupidities.
These days, the Virus is spreading through the Greek-Turkish border.
It has no crown.
But its symptom is clear.
The lack of humanity.
