A JUDGE who earns about 60,000 euros a year, a CANARY ISLAND AUTONOMOUS GOVERNMENT of the PP and Coalición Canaria that does not use politics to solve the population's housing problems but to fatten the bank accounts of its businessman friends, an inexplicable and exaggerated POLICE DEPLOYMENT that uses VIOLENCE to evict a Canary Island family from their home, a woman with two minor children, as if they were criminals and to savagely repress all the people who tried to prevent this inhumane eviction.

Where will these children sleep with their mother tonight and in the following nights? What bed and what mattress can embrace the desperation of these children and this mother? Will they be able to go to school tomorrow, and the following mornings, normally like any other child? Can they take their toys in their backpacks? Where are their books, their toys, and their dreams stored now? What future awaits them and their mother? Will they have the same sun in the mornings and the same moon in the nights as other children?

Is it much more important for the owner of the apartment to be able to sell it to indulge in a whim when he owns other properties than for a family with minor children to be thrown into the streets?

Is being a police officer intrinsically linked to the dehumanization of their profession? Why did these police officers not opt for conscientious objection and refuse to throw a woman and her two children onto the street and also to use violence against other citizens as if they were criminals? Why do we citizens have to pay the salaries of officials with badges who use violence to hit people who are defending the same human rights?

Every person, every family, has the right to live under a roof without fear, with security, with protection, and with dignity.

Meanwhile, tonight and in the following nights, probably without any remorse, ... a judge will sleep peacefully and comfortably in her bed, ... the political leaders of the Canary Islands government will enjoy their armchairs and their mattresses peacefully, ... the evicting police officers will dream restfully on their pillows of the power of their batons and their authority ...

And all of them, judge, politicians from the Canary government and evicting police officers, will do so thanks to the fact that the deputies and deputies of the far-right PP-VOX-JUNTs voted against the Anti-Eviction Decrees in February, in April, and in the recent October of this year, and thus voted against the rights of the working class to be able to sleep in decent housing.

Human empathy darkens more and more and humanity itself begins to enter an unbearable decadence.
