Dear Nona Perera,
I would like to start this letter by saying that it has caused us great sadness to hear you in the media insulting and defaming our political organization and the people who make it up. Frankly, calling us corrupt is undeserved and somewhat miserable on your part.
I would like to remind you that Noemí Santana (General Secretary of Podemos Canarias) was a member of Nueva Canarias for many years and that Podemos has a number of agreements and pacts with our formation (NC) throughout our great country.
Anyway, without wanting to go into more disquisitions, we would like to say that the party you offend and the people you insult are the same people and the same party that publicly defended you in tremendously difficult times, for example when the current president of the Cabildo discriminated against and humiliated you for writing reports that contravened the will of San Ginés' wishes.
At that time, the independent technician Perera, had the absolute solidarity of this formation and of the people that you now discriminate against and humiliate with your unfair statements.
It is true that we were not the only ones to join in your defense and that you were not the only one to be persecuted, but the truth is that both you and we coincided in the fight for legality and transparency. You as a technician and we as a party, wanted and believed (we still remain in our same positions) in the independence of efficient and decent workers. Something that looks a lot like the fight against corruption.
By the way, the defense of your person cost us a fierce attack by the media, owned by corrupt people in which you and yours now occupy covers full of praise.
Now you have decided to dedicate yourself to politics and you do so by militating in Podemos, a respectable formation, as we have never doubted. Your party is going through difficult times, I neither want to nor am I going to go into the reasons or those responsible for that situation, I hope that its leaders solve those problems as soon as possible, so that we can fight in good faith in the next elections for a change in our society.
But the truth is that today you are aligned with the media owned by the corrupt to attack the people who defended you. Now you are the stiletto of the defamers. The truth is that today you defame and insult us, making your own the lack of respect for the truth and honesty, simply to get out of a political predicament, in which only you and your lack of leadership or little personality has created.
To you, dear Nona, we only want to say three things:
1- Calling honest people corrupt benefits the corrupt, since in the everyone is equal only the scoundrels win.
2.-Nueva Canarias continues to believe that you were unfairly discriminated against and we have to eradicate the persecution of people regardless of their thinking.
3.- Nueva Canarias will continue to defend the people that the corrupt power persecutes, even if they are not up to the causes we defend.
