We already know, because we have learned it with the election periods, that in the election year all the works come out on the street... And what am I going to say about that that has not already been said, that we have not discussed with the neighbors, with the family or at work... depending on where the work is and how much it hinders or makes it difficult for me to live my normal life.
This is sad, that they continue to promote works, paintings, improvements, gardens and openings of playgrounds, not because they are necessary and the neighbors demand them, not because the taxes of people and companies should be used to improve and maintain the neighborhoods and urban areas. Not even because of the complaints from groups such as the AMPA's, NO, but to promote this or that party that takes advantage of the power it has to let us know that when the ruling party is interested, these activities go ahead. As I said, HOW SAD!!.
But not even so... This current team that in recent months has opened Socio-Cultural Centers devoid of the bare minimum, that has raised streets and painted walls and planted bushes (that have dried up due to lack of irrigation) continues to leave our legacy abandoned.
I am referring, among others, to the PUEBLO MARINERO:
Cultural and architectural legacy, but also a reference environment and economic engine of Costa Teguise, and for the same reason of Teguise.
On several occasions it has been a negative protagonist of the municipality's news, but taking a walk through this environment and seeing the abandonment to which it is subjected saddens not only the heart, but also the memory and pride.
I thought that being in the time of running around to scratch a vote, this would have, although sad and untimely, a solution, but it has not been so at all.
Neighbors, businessmen, users and tourists comment with discontent and anger the same thing, "...well, if they haven't done anything now, not until four years from now."
The truth is that as a resident of this municipality and of this nucleus Costa Teguise, I wonder if we are going to let this environment and many others collapse due to the abandonment of the institutions. I, at least, NO. And you, what do you think? Or are you going to wait and see if they fix it in another four years?
