Real equality is, precisely, applying objectivity. It is positioning oneself based on proven facts and seeing from the prism of equity. Otherwise, it would be repeating the history of inequality that women have suffered.
When Amber says "a battered man? no one will believe you", what she does is weaken the fight for real equality and the commitment to reach that point where we are socially treated equally. Strengthening that erroneous belief that both sexes must be divided to win this battle in which real equality has sadly become.
The truth is that real equality will never be achieved until men and women go hand in hand towards that path and not faced in opposite paths.
On the other hand, in this specific case, the shortcomings of the "all-powerful" system that social justice means when judging without prior trial are evident, appealing exclusively to a story published in "the Post".
The consequences: Disney kills Sparrow because of what they will say, and that has not been fair either.
It is evident that more than innocent or guilty "of bonfire" here what is questioned again is the lack of healthy interpersonal relationships, and that is also violence. The overbooking of toxic relationships that are reproduced over and over again.
Now, let's also be objective.
That there is a similar degree of violence between women and men, objectively we conclude again that it is false.
Amber represents 0.01% of "false accusations", and although they cannot blur even an iota the 99.9 true ones, what she does, makes her a bad PERSON and weakens the affected majority
Feminism is the key to achieving real equality.
And Amber, represents that falsehood, which like any system, has its flaws.
I think this should not be about radicalisms like the ones we are seeing these days;
Defend Amber "for being a woman, and therefore more likely to be a victim" or defend Depp "for being a man wrongly judged"
This should be about both Jhonny Depp and Amber Heard having serious problems with toxic and violent behaviors.
