I publicly denounced weeks ago, in my capacity as an observer and collaborator on the deteriorating situation at the southern entrance to the island's capital. I emphasized the "trap sign" existing there, poorly located, poorly oriented, confusing, and the deteriorated horizontal signage, turning that space into a "fine fishing ground." I also warned that the largest number of sanctioned vehicles were rental cars, which reveals and highlights the confusing signage.
The public complaint was raised correctly, without anonymity, and furthermore, solutions were offered. The response from the public servant, be he a councilman, was not long in coming and directly attacks "the messenger" with utter contempt, accusing me of being "ignorant and hot-headed."
Following this, the omniscient councilman is more concerned with demonstrating his knowledge of traffic and his "high capabilities" in the world of mobility, and within his boasting, he almost sends all the patient drivers of Arrecife back to driving school. And, the most amazing thing is that in the end, in his "masterful account," he ends up giving the complaining citizen the reason twice over, when he states: - "the disc in question can be turned, and the road and shoulder can be measured, and at least four parking spaces can be used..."(¿?)
I believe that the Mayor or the aforementioned "public servant" should apologize in the same medium and that the corrective tasks that have motivated these discrepancies should be undertaken.
