The Yaiza City Council published this Thursday on its electronic headquarters the new public tender for the supply and installation of the inclusive park in the Víctor Fernández Gopar square in the town of Las Breñas, with an updated improvement project and a budget of 560,000 euros as a bidding base, assumed by the Institution presided over by Óscar Noda and the Municipal Cooperation program of the Cabildo of Lanzarote.
“Within the program of implementation of inclusive and accessible parks in Yaiza, we want to deliver to Las Breñas a children's play area with the best possible features so that boys and girls of the town can enjoy a safe and attractive environment with their families without any impediment,” declares Mayor Óscar Noda. Companies interested in executing the project can submit their offers until June 24, consulting the technical and administrative specifications on the public sector contracting platform.
In addition to informing about this new initiative to take advantage of public spaces for healthy leisure activities, Yaiza invites the population and entities of Lanzarote dedicated to the care of minors with special educational needs to the conference on inclusive playgrounds organized for Wednesday, June 5, at 6:15 p.m., at the Uga Camel Center.
This call, notes Councilor Rubén Arca, “wants to share the proposal to create a technical guide for the implementation of inclusive playgrounds, in addition to consulting with citizens their main demands and proactive ideas related to municipal play areas.”
The City Council has an opinion survey underway regarding the perception of the local population in relation to universal accessibility, safety and comfort of the municipality's playgrounds. Participation is open and the survey form, simple and quick to fill out, is available on the City Council website.
