The Haría City Council, through the Animal Welfare Area, has concluded the campaign for vaccination and identification of dogs and cats with actions on more than 130 pets. This initiative had as its main objective to promote the health and protection of animals.
The Councillor for Animal Welfare, Marcos Lemes, thanks the collaboration of the El Norte veterinary clinic for the management of this initiative, where around 25 vaccinations and 12 new identifications have been achieved, compared to the previous year. “A campaign that has been a complete success for residents of our municipality,” he points out.
For his part, the mayor, Alfredo Villalba, highlights this type of action in the different localities of the municipality to achieve a stable and lasting commitment with the pets that live in the municipality. “It is fundamental that institutions continue to promote responsible adoption and dignified treatment towards our dogs and cats,” he emphasizes.
With this type of actions, the City Council reinforces its commitment to animal and citizen welfare, with the objective of avoiding abandonments and risk situations for pets.
