José Valle, president of the Chamber of Commerce of Lanzarote and La Graciosa, has addressed this Friday on the program *Buenos días, Lanzarote* of *Radio Lanzarote - Onda Cero* the **rumors** that suggest he might preside over the caretaker committee of the Popular Party on the island in light of the internal crisis the party is experiencing and has denied that he will occupy this PresidencyValle has commented that "the rumors are very wide" and has made it clear that he has all the support of the business sector to continue as president of the Chamber. "In two or three months we will have the elections and we are waiting for the Government of the Canary Islands to call them and I am going to run and **possibly I will continue to be president of the Chamber**," he has confirmed"This rumor mill surprises me, which has gotten me into a mess because **it is not my job** and let's not forget that the cameras are altruistic and we have to leave our companies, our families, and we are for a general interest and I am going to continue in that line. I will collaborate with all the parties as I have been doing, with a single objective, which is the island of Lanzarote," he continued. In this regard, he has pointed out that Lanzarote has "many strong profiles" to manage that position, but "I don't have to be anywhere near this," he said jokingly. Therefore, he has emphasized that he **will remain at the head of the business sector** which is "where I think I do well"."I have a responsibility and I believe things are being done well... today the island of Lanzarote is a benchmark for how it has advanced and in the union of the business sector with powerful projects, so I have work left to do in the Chamber of Commerce," he continued. The president of the Chamber of Commerce of Lanzarote has thanked whoever thought of him for that position "because I've already had Canary Coalition, PSOE and now PP, and this only says that I am a man of consensus and that they can count on me, but from the Chamber of Commerce".
