Unidas Sí Podemos will have a "renewing and exciting" candidacy in Teguise for the Teguise city council, led by social integrator and educator Zayda González, a resident of Tahiche and involved in the associative life of the municipality.

The candidate, with strong social convictions, is an educator of minors in vulnerable situations, a social integrator by training, a trade unionist, and is currently finishing her degree in Social Education from UNED. "We want to make a commitment to dignify local life, bring social care to all the towns and villages of the municipality, and democratize access to public life with more participation and facilities," González anticipates.

The candidate will be accompanied by Nauzet Martín, a young man linked to Caleta de Famara, an activist for LGTBI rights and diversity, who occupies number two on the list. For him, "continuing to expand the visibility and normalization of all the diversity of today's society in every corner of the island is fundamental to advancing as a supportive and welcoming people."

In third place on the municipal list is Samuel Lariño, a worker from Costa Teguise and an athlete. "If there is one thing that sport has taught me, it is the importance of companionship. In municipal life, it is similar; we must row together from the institutions and from society to advance in rights and well-being. This is something that this governing group has not been able to do," said the candidate.

Mónica Álvarez, a native of Villa de Teguise, will occupy number four on the list, an entrepreneur, worker, and co-founder of the Fayna Skating Association. She is followed by Miguel Ángel Cárdenas, a resident of Costa Teguise, an educational assistant with great social concerns who has led him to participate in the trade union movement and in the Federation of Services to the Citizenry.

With this team, Unidas Sí Podemos aspires to break the absolute majority that is "opaque and not very functional, which has been punishing Teguise for too many years with unbearable neglect."
