The Tías Town Council has announced the tender for the project to install shade systems in the children's parks of Conil, La Asomada, Los Pocillos and Masdache, with a total investment of 206,442.93 euros. This initiative, promoted by the mayor José Juan Cruz Saavedra, aims to guarantee safer spaces adapted to the effects of climate change.
“This measure is essential to create children's parks that offer safety and comfort to families, while we advance in our adaptation to climate change,” said the mayor, who also invited all local and island companies to participate in the bidding process.
For his part, the Councilor for Public Parks and Gardens and Municipal Dependencies, Christopher Notario, stressed that the integral renovation of municipal parks is a priority in this legislature: “With this tender we respond to a historical citizen demand and advance towards more sustainable public spaces, adapted to climate change and accessible for all.”
This tender adds to the new children's park in Puerto del Carmen, located in Matagorda, which will include modern facilities adapted to the needs of the population and will be tendered in the coming weeks.
The objective of the Tías Town Council is to develop quality public spaces, consolidating itself as a benchmark in the commitment to infrastructures for the enjoyment and well-being of citizens.
