The Tías Town Hall has awarded the administrative concession contract for the bar-cafeteria of the Masdache socio-cultural center, so it will soon open its doors and join the reactivation of the municipality's socio-cultural centers after the launch a few months ago of the bar-cafeterias in Conil and Puerto del Carmen.

The Councilor for Classified Activities, Mariana Pérez, visited the facilities together with the successful bidder, Charles Gómez, whom she congratulated for "having committed to the operation of this cafeteria and contributing to the creation of a common space that will be a meeting place and revitalization of the area".

The surface area of the bar-cafeteria, kitchen and warehouse of the Masdache socio-cultural center is 65.25 square meters, to which are added two terrace areas on the facade and in the patio with garden, near the playground, where tables and chairs can be placed for the enjoyment of users.

The premises must be open at least five days a week and the focus should be on Canarian products, and specifically those from Lanzarote. According to Mariana Pérez, "we want these establishments, so connected with the people, to offer local products, to include in the menu, in a majority way, typical Canarian foods and use products from Lanzarote, as well as wines from the island".

The Tías Town Hall set itself the objective of rehabilitating and adapting the socio-cultural centers of the municipal district to encourage their community use with different activities and promote social exchange through the cafeterias of the properties.
