This weekend, on the occasion of the traditional Romería de los Dolores, the Cabildo de Lanzarote has planned almost a dozen traffic modifications. In this way, the island corporation guarantees the correct development of the popular pilgrimage that, as every year, is expected to mobilize several thousand pedestrians. These are the planned modifications for the 14th and 15th of September:
On the LZ-20, in the section Rotonda al Campesino - Rotonda de Mozaga, it will only be possible to circulate in the direction of the Mozaga roundabout from 00:00 to 22:00 on Saturday, September 14.
On the other hand, the LZ-30 (road that connects Uga to Teguise passing through La Geria and Masdache), from its intersection with the LZ-20 (road that connects Arrecife and San Bartolomé) to C/Las Calderetas, will be closed to traffic from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 14. While from Las Calderetas to La Florida it will only remain closed from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on that same day.
For its part, the LZ-67 (only in the section that includes the town of Tinajo, from the Maxcoop supermarket to the intersection of the avenue of the volcanoes towards the Plaza de Los Dolores) will remain closed to traffic from 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 14.
The LZ-56 (Carretera de Tinguatón) will remain closed to traffic from 8:00 a.m. on Saturday the 14th to 6:00 a.m. on Sunday the 15th of September.
