The young people of New Generations of the Popular Party of Lanzarote have launched "one more year" the solidarity campaign to collect toys for families with fewer resources with the aim of "collaborating and contributing to all the boys and girls of the island can receive their well-deserved gifts and keep alive the illusion in these holidays and on the magical Three Kings Day".
According to the coordinator of NNGG, Davinia Déniz, "the campaign starts this Thursday, December 29 and will remain active until January 3. All those who want to participate can do so by leaving their donations at the island headquarters of the Popular Party in Arrecife", which will remain open in the morning and afternoon: from 9:00 to 13:00 hours and from 17:00 to 20:00 hours.
“As in previous years, what we also do is mobilize the different local committees to promote the initiative through the municipalities and facilitate participation and collection among affiliates and supporters who, from our experience, always respond in a very positive way, whatever their circumstances. The most important thing is to help and that everyone does it to the extent that they can”, says Davinia Déniz.
The solidarity campaign will be channeled through different NGOs that will be responsible for delivering the gifts to families.
