The candidate for Senator for the PSOE and current acting senator for the island of Lanzarote and La Graciosa, Manuel Fajardo Palarea, started the electoral campaign last Friday on the eighth island, where together with colleagues and supporters he carried out the traditional poster hanging.

Fajardo Palarea, who aspires to "revalidate the majority support" of citizens in the electoral event on 23J, pledged to "continue representing all the people of Lanzarote and Graciosa in the Upper House." "That is what I have done these last four years, without distinction, because my goal has always been to help solve the problems that affect our land, from Caleta de Sebo to Faro de Pechiguera," stressed the socialist candidate.

"On July 23, we are risking a lot as a country and society"

"I wanted to start this campaign on the eighth island as a sign of the importance of all the towns, villages and localities that make up Lanzarote and La Graciosa, all outstanding and to whom I intend to continue serving and revalidate the majority confidence of the citizens," said Fajardo.

"On 23J - continued the socialist candidate - we are risking a lot as a country and as a society, so I ask for massive participation from citizens so that, with their vote for the Socialist Party, they bet on the path of progress, conquest of rights and social advances that we have achieved for all Spaniards and Canarians from the Government presided over by Pedro Sánchez."
