The socialist party of Arrecife denounces that the PP has paid "secretly" the more than 22 million euros of the Ginory plot without waiting for the extraordinary plenary session of January 5. "Astrid Pérez has once again deceived the citizens of Arrecife by secretly paying more than 22 million euros for a plot of land for which she has refused to request the title deed." And all with a speed and hysteria that has led the mayor to lie in favor of the millionaire payment for the most savage looting that a municipality of Lanzarote has had in history." "The mayor had to pay today to prevent the extraordinary plenary session convened by the PSOE from preventing the looting," criticizes the socialist councilor Cristina Duque.
According to the councilor, "Astrid has acted as if the indemnity money was going to be pocketed by herself, you had never seen a person wanting to pay a fortune so quickly for a property that no one knows if it exists or not."
"The Socialist Party had convened an extraordinary plenary session in which evidence appears that demonstrates that the Ginory plot is an urban fiction and that the situation can be reversed," they point out from the PSOE, which adds that "in view of the new data that reveal that the City Council could stop Astrid's payment secretly, pays more than 22 million."
The PSOE asks several "unanswered" questions to Astrid Pérez
The socialists ask several questions that they claim have no answer from Astrid Perez.
"Why has Pérez never wanted to ask about the title deed of the aforementioned plot? Any citizen who buys a plot of land, the first thing they ask for is the deed of the plot, Astrid Pérez has not been interested at any time, in fact she seems like an enemy of the City Council."
"Why did the mayor never want to see the evidence that shows that the plot of land that is being paid for did not exist and that it was part of a sheet of water that cannot even be registered?"
"Why has the mayor refused to see the evidence that shows that this plot of land, even counting the part won from the sea, does not add up to the meters that the alleged property intends to charge?"
"Why does Astrid Pérez advance the payment of 22 million euros just before the Plenary Session that can demonstrate that everything is a fiction and initiate actions so that the city is not looted?"
Finally, the PSOE reminds the Mayor that "our loyalty is with the city, not with those who loot the municipality's accounts, and warns that the party will go to the ultimate consequences in the defense of the city."
