The PSOE of Arrecife demands that Echedey Eugenio, "fight and eradicate rats in the area of Simón Bolívar Park and other points of the city, such as Charco de San Ginés and its surroundings."
Councilor Cristina Duque points out that she has echoed "the complaints expressed in these days by residents and asks the Councilor for Health "to launch control campaigns, rat extermination and disinsection, to keep both rodents and cockroaches at bay in the streets of the city."
According to the socialist spokesperson, "rats adapt very easily to any type of environment, have great mobility and reproduce quickly, so it is very easy for them to become annoying pests in urban environments if they are not fought regularly and diligently," she says.
"Stop dreaming about the Mayor's chair and dedicate yourself to solving the real problems of the residents"
She also clarifies that "periodic rat extermination campaigns are an effective method to fight against rats because, otherwise, they end up multiplying and even invading homes." For this reason, Duque asks the Councilor for Health to: "stop dreaming about the Mayor's chair and dedicate himself to solving the real problems of the residents of Arrecife."
