The general secretary of the PSOE of Lanzarote and head of the list to Congress for the province of Las Palmas, María Dolores Corujo, has asked the members of the Socialist Party and those who feel democratic for an effort of mobilization next Sunday so that Europe does not fall into the hands of those who want to reach the European Parliament to break Europe from within.
"They do not believe in European values. They do not believe in equality, they do not believe in solidarity and the only freedom they preach is that of imposing their beliefs on others," Corujo explained.
"We have already seen it in Spain. In all the autonomous communities and in all the municipalities governed by the Popular Party and VOX, they have turned back the clock of history by eliminating the areas of equality, dismantling social welfare services, ending policies to fight global warming and rejecting historical memory," the socialist leader reproached.
"That is what they want to do now in Europe and we are going to prevent it. We are going to stop the far right again, we achieved it in Spain and we are going to achieve it in Europe," Corujo concluded, appealing once again to mobilization as the only way to stop the reactionary wave.

For his part, the general secretary of the socialists of Arrecife, Alfredo Mendoza, thanked the constant work of the members during this campaign and assured that this work will bear fruit next Sunday.
Mendoza highlighted the great reception that the PSOE has had during these days of campaign: "In all the neighborhoods of Arrecife, in all the streets, we do not stop meeting people determined to stop with their vote this attempt to return us to the past and to create a society divided by fear and hatred of the other."
