The president of the Cabildo of Lanzarote, María Dolores Corujo, held a meeting this Thursday at the island's stand at Fitur 2022 with a group of students from the Training Cycle Guide, Information and Tourist Assistance, taught by the Integrated Center for Professional Training (CIFP) Zonzamas.
The head of the Institution encouraged them to take advantage of this opportunity and learn "firsthand" how Lanzarote tourism managers develop promotion at a world event of this magnitude. María Dolores Corujo, who had a relaxed conversation with the students for a few minutes, encouraged them to "enjoy the practices."
"It is our obligation to collaborate with these young people so that they continue, through their training in tourism, also learning some of the peculiarities of a destination such as Lanzarote and La Graciosa, and how we at Turismo Lanzarote manage this added value," commented the island's representative.
The students of the Higher Training Cycle Guide, Information and Tourist Assistance who are present these days at Fitur, have been accredited by the Society for the Promotion of Foreign Affairs of Lanzarote. During this week, they have taken advantage of their time at the Island's stand to delve into the Dual Training that characterizes their studies in tourism.
From the Cabildo of Lanzarote they point out that the collaboration between the Corporation and the CIFP Zonzamas is being "especially intense during the present mandate". In this regard, they point out that last summer, the Energy Department of the first Corporation "ceded material to complete the training of students of Professional Education in Renewable Energies." Specifically, the necessary material to execute a photovoltaic self-consumption installation.
