The PP will not appeal the CACT case: "If the judge does not see evidence of a crime, is the PP going to see it?"

The PP will not appeal the CACT case: "If the judge sees no evidence of a crime, will the PP see it?"

"If the judge does not see evidence of a crime, is the PP going to see it?" This is how the popular councilor of the Cabildo, Ángel Vázquez, has stated, who has affirmed that the PP will not appeal the dismissal of the case of the Tourist Centers against Carlos Espino. And it is that, in addition, Vázquez has assured that he could not do it either

"The PP cannot appeal anything at the moment that it is not an accusation, that it is not registered as an accusation. Only the one who has accused can appeal in this case, so the PP has nothing to say there", the PP councilor pointed out. And it is that, although the procedure began as a result of a complaint that was filed in 2010, when Ástrid Pérez was the highest authority of the Centers, it was presented by the management of the Centers and the PP never appeared in the case.

In addition, Ángel Vázquez has insisted that the PP has "always" respected judicial decisions. "We deeply respect the judicial issue and I insist, the PP cannot accuse when it has never appeared in the case", reiterated the PP councilor who believes, therefore, that "they are wrong" from CC.

Likewise, after the request of the nationalists requesting the extraordinary and urgent convocation of the Board of Directors of the CACT to agree to appeal the dismissal of the case against Carlos Espino, the PP councilor has stated that he does "not" have knowledge that it has been convened.
