The Popular Party of Yaiza accuses Noda of "continuing to lose economic resources from other administrations in a new example of mismanagement." Thus, the Populars "reproach the mayor for not being able to compete, as the rest of the island's town halls have done, in the call for subsidies convened by the Cabildo aimed at promoting and promoting local crafts."
"The fact of not requesting this aid deprives the municipality of being able to have 15,000 extra euros that could well be used to promote craft activities, as well as for the celebration of different courses and workshops,” highlights the PP councilor, Guayo Rodríguez.
For the Popular Party of Yaiza "it is important that the councilor of the Area explain the reasons why the town hall decided to stay out of this subsidy and lose the opportunity to have resources that, in the times that are running, the sector would have received with open arms". “It seems that the loss of public funds has become something habitual in this government group”, the councilor points out, referring to the fact that “Yaiza already let the first call for structural funds pass without presenting projects and, later, had to return the subsidy of 1,000,000 euros that it had requested from the Government of the Canary Islands for the rehabilitation of homes.”
On this occasion, it is a subsidy to a sector that also "does not have a specific item within the municipal budgets, which makes the loss of 15,000 euros that the rest of the island's town halls are going to be able to invest even more important."
