The Neighborhood Association of Titerroy has presented allegations to the draft of the Operating Regulations of the commission for the management of homes in their neighborhood. The neighbors denounce that they have been "waiting and desperate without any municipal protection" and add that they warned "from minute 0 that no political trick should be carried out with human lives."

"Not another mockery to our neighbors. Let it be sent to the government and opposition group of the city council: Make it very clear that no party should try to exploit the homes of Titerroy as an electoral goldmine, because we will not allow the abuse committed to the humble neighbors. Nor that the good faith of the same continues to be abused," the group states.

From the association, they request several points such as "that all types of official or unofficial meetings related to the issue of housing be convened officially; if we notice that someone is trying to lie to a neighbor with false promises, this association will bring it to the attention of the Court; we do not understand why the mayor creates a commission shortly before the municipal elections and we also do not understand why she has not established an investigation commission to elucidate the responsibility of those who hold municipal positions, a project that was approved in the Municipal Plenary more than a year ago."

They also present complaints against article 3 of the regulations, which establishes that information will be provided "through the preparation of an annual report, which will be published annually on the electronic headquarters of the Arrecife City Council" because they consider that with it they "manifest the little interest in trying to find solutions to their homes in the short term." The neighbors request that the commission finish "on January 1, 2023."

In addition, they ask that Senator Manuel Fajardo be included in the commission and that "the mayor" be the one to preside over it. Finally, they demand that there be "one vote per home" from the neighborhood community and that the "public officials and advisors who participate in it renounce to charge."

"We hope that the allegations will be studied with the purpose of being taken into account and added to the operating regulations," concludes the Titerroy Neighborhood Association in the document.
