The Nationalist Youth of Lanzarote (JNL) once again recalled this Friday, October 22, their commitment to continue fighting for the "consolidation and recognition
of the Canarian people", with the recovery (after the forced parenthesis of 2020 due to the Covid-2019 pandemic) of the traditional raising of the Canarian national flag.
The JNL, headed by its general secretary, Maciot Cabrera, once again managed to bring together various organic and public positions of the Canarian Coalition Lanzarote, around the tricolor flag of the eight green stars. An act that, on this occasion and following the tradition of touring the different municipalities of the island, took place in La Santa.
After the raising, the manifesto was read where Cabrera recalled that "the tricolor flag of the eight green stars has become over the years the national ensign most assumed by the Canarians" and that every October 22 "a series of rights, values, customs and traditions that define and evidence the existence of characteristics and peculiarities common to all Canarians and that define us as a people" are revealed.
In a special memory for the island of La Palma, the general secretary of the youth formation emphasized that "we must be stronger than ever, and lend a hand so that all our stars continue to shine brightly. We are eight, eight stars united and protected under the same flag."
