The Cabildo of Lanzarote, through the Ministry of Education and Training, headed by Ascensión Toledo, extends the opening hours of the Insular Library, an extraordinary measure aimed at facilitating study and exam preparation for the end-of-term EBAU exams for students.

The president of the Cabildo of Lanzarote, Oswaldo Betancort, points out that "this initiative is part of the Institution's strategy to offer the best possible guarantees so that students from Lanzarote and La Graciosa can face their academic future." Likewise, he wishes them the best of luck to those who will face these demanding tests.

"We are aware of the effort our young people and opposition candidates make at this time," highlights the minister, Ascensión Toledo. She adds that "our goal is for the Insular Library to be a useful and accessible tool, removing time barriers so that each user can organize their study time with complete flexibility."

The Insular Library will implement, until July 2, 2026, uninterrupted opening hours from 07:00 to 24:00, including weekends and holidays. This extended schedule responds to the high demand from regular users and the student community who require adequate and equipped spaces to face university entrance exams, opposition exams, and final degree exams.

In addition to the study rooms, high-speed Wi-Fi connection services and consultation areas will remain operational, ensuring an optimal environment for academic performance.

Interested individuals can access all information about available services and access regulations by going to the user service points at the center itself.
