A total of 100,839 residents in Lanzarote and La Graciosa are called to vote in the general elections that started normally this Sunday at 9:00 a.m. On a day that has dawned cool and will alternate clouds and clear skies, citizens have already begun to approach the 179 polling stations set up on both islands.
The people of Lanzarote and Graciosa will be able to choose a white ballot for the elections to the Congress, the body formed by 350 deputies, which are divided into parliamentary groups corresponding to political parties. With the white ballot they will be able to select a party.
The sepia ballots are to vote for the Senate, the other body that exercises legislative power in the country. This is made up of 208 senators, who appear grouped by political party, but you can choose candidates from different parties.
Voters can consult, without the need for Cl@ve access, the data of the polling station and electoral location in which they are to vote, by different search criteria, providing as mandatory data the province, the municipality and the initial of the first surname, through the address: https://sede.ine.gob.es/ce-mesas/?lang=es_ES.
Correos has admitted a total of 79,745 votes from citizens of the Canary Islands (43,394 from the province of Las Palmas and 36,351 from Santa Cruz de Tenerife) for the general elections of this July 23.
