The Lanzarote Council presented this Monday the new digital platform to promote local commerce in the capital, 'ArrecifeVirtual'. This tool will be launched in collaboration with Felapyme and "will allow businesses that join to upload the catalog of products to the web, make discounts and exclusive promotions, make the consumer participate in all campaigns and promotions to boost trade and be the showcase to give visibility and value to the local commerce of the city", they point out from the first Institution.
The Councilor for Commerce of the Cabildo de Lanzarote, Carmen Guadalupe, stressed that "this portal will give continuity to the strategy launched by the commerce area of the Cabildo de Lanzarote and Felapyme, focused on improving the positioning and boosting the competitiveness of the commercial sector of Arrecife".
Likewise, the general secretary of Felapyme, Daniel González, remarked that "this project not only pursues the digitalization of the sector, but also favors green commerce, delivering to the shops cloth bags until the end of stock with the insignia 'Your Commerce + Green', reinforcing the commitment of small businesses with the environment and improving the shopping experience in local commerce".
In addition, 'ArrecifeVirtual' Shopping Center will serve as a reference portal for the campaigns to boost the commerce of the city, incorporating exclusive functionalities for raffles, promotions and actions aimed at giving visibility to local commerce. In the same way, it will serve as an information channel between the Cabildo, Felapyme and local commerce, since through this website you can launch news, events and information of relevance and special interest to commerce.
From this Monday, the businesses that wish to join and be part of this initiative can do so by accessing the tab "registration of establishments" of this website. As businesses join, all the functionalities of the website will be activated.
