The College of Physicians of Las Palmas celebrates the launch of the new public transport line connecting Arrecife with the José Molina Orosa University Hospital. The measure, by the Cabildo of Lanzarote, arrives "at a key moment".
The lack of parking in the vicinity of the center is not a minor inconvenience: it is a real and sustained limitation that makes it difficult, in practice, for doctors and other healthcare personnel to get to their workplaces, in addition to complicating the travel of patients and their companions.
**Operational since January 2nd**, the line runs Monday to Friday (except holidays), with a frequency of 25 minutes between 07:30 and 21:25, connecting strategic points in Arrecife with the General Hospital.In this context, having an effective alternative to private vehicles not only helps to decongest the area: it brings predictability to travel and offers a practical solution to a structural parking problem in the hospital's surroundings
