The Cabildo regrets the death of Adolfo Mingo, Treasurer of the Institution for 40 years

The Island Corporation highlights the career and legacy of someone who dedicated his life to public service with honesty and rigor

The Cabildo of Lanzarote expresses its deep regret for the death of Mr. Adolfo Mingo Serrano, who held the position of Treasurer of the Institution for four decades, from 1961 to 2001. Adolfo Mingo Serrano passed away this Tuesday at the age of 91.

"Throughout his long professional career, Mr. Adolfo Mingo was a highly respected and loved figure by colleagues, workers and public officials, leaving an indelible mark on the island administration", they emphasize from the Cabildo.

The president of the Cabildo, Oswaldo Betancort, wanted to convey his condolences and pay tribute to his figure: “Don Adolfo Mingo dedicated a large part of his life to public service with honesty and rigor. His work and his example will always remain in the memory of all those who were fortunate enough to share his professional stage with him.”

On behalf of the entire Institution, Betancort has publicly conveyed his condolences to family and friends, sharing their pain in these difficult times.
