The Board of Directors of INALSA, held this Thursday, agreed to open the contracting file for the tender of the San Bartolomé Wind Farm. This will include the supply, installation, commissioning and maintenance during the warranty period of four wind turbines and complementary infrastructures.
The installation, which will include the assembly of 4 Enercon ENERCON E-70 2.3MW wind turbines, will be located in Peña Pelada in the municipality of San Bartolomé, next to the Teguise I and Arrecife wind farms. Four wind turbines will be installed with a hub height of 85 meters; a rotor diameter of 71 m, a total height of 120 m, including the blades, and has an expected production of 25,326 Mwh/year. They will be taller than those of Punta Grande, which have a hub height of 64 and with the blades reach 99.5 meters.
The San Bartolomé 9.2 MW Wind Farm will be put out to tender for the maximum price of 12,038,814.77 euros + 842,717.03 euros as IGIC and the duration of the contract will be 12 months.
It is worth mentioning that this park is the third and last of those presented by Inalsa to the wind competition. Currently the Teguise I W.F. is built and operating, the Arrecife W.F. is finalizing its construction and the San Bartolomé W.F., whose procedures began on April 27, 2007, is initiating the contracting file to launch its tender.
The Water Consortium of Lanzarote has been a beneficiary for the period 2019/2020 of the FDCAN funds (Canary Islands Development Fund, created and regulated by Decree 85/2016, of July 4, is intended to promote the realization of actions that contribute to economic and social territorial cohesion, as well as the economic development of the Canary Islands and the creation of employment in the islands) for the execution of the “Program for the Installation of Renewable Energies and Distribution Networks included in the Lanzarote 2016/2025 Strategy (FDCAN)”.
The San Bartolomé Wind Farm is a project covered by the line of aid to Low Carbon Economy projects, in electricity production facilities with wind and photovoltaic technologies, located in non-peninsular territories, co-financed by the EUROPEAN REGIONAL DEVELOPMENT FUND (ERDF) and managed by the IDAE, with the aim of achieving a cleaner and more sustainable economy under the slogan “A way of making Europe”.
