The Biosphere Reserve will distribute refurbished computer equipment to social organizations on the island. The devices are part of the training project Maintenance and Installation Services of Computer Systems, promoted by the Employment Area of the Cabildo of Lanzarote and financed by the Canarian Employment Service.
Entities interested in benefiting from this material must fill out a form, and if applications exceed the available stock, a public draw will be held at the headquarters of the Reserve, the Casa de los Arroyo in Arrecife.
Both the Minister of Employment, María Ascensión Toledo, and the Minister of the Biosphere Reserve, Samuel Martín, have expressed their satisfaction with this interdepartmental collaboration initiative, which results both in the professional training of the PFAE students and in the possibility of giving a second life to equipment collected in the network of Clean Points of Lanzarote, which is susceptible to being reused.
