The CEO of the Art, Culture and Tourism Centers (CACT), Ángel Vázquez, has signed the public bidding procedure for the contracting of the supply and maintenance of 11 semi-automatic external defibrillators (AED) under a renting scheme, which will be distributed throughout the spaces created by César Manrique.

“It is a measure that transmits security and protection, an exercise of responsibility that will allow us to face with greater guarantees a threat that does not present previous symptoms and with which we can save the lives of some of the thousands of people who visit us every day and of the workers that are part of the entity's staff”, the counselor pointed out.

The technical specifications contemplate the installation in suitable, visible and easily accessible places of two of these devices in the Cueva de los Verdes and in Jameos del Agua, respectively, and one in the Mirador del Río, the Jardín de Cactus, the MIAC- Castillo de San José, the Casa Museo del Campesino, the Montañas del Fuego, the central offices and in the islet of Fermina

In addition, the awarded company will be responsible for the maintenance of the devices, and their replacement in cases that are considered appropriate. The contract will have a duration of five years and a maximum bidding amount of 39,663.19 euros.

The entities interested in participating in this procedure can consult the bases and deadlines thereof on the CACT website.
