The Teguise City Council has awarded the company Oziona Soluciones de Entretenimiento the conservation, maintenance and cleaning of the municipality's playgrounds and bio-healthy areas for 103,633 euros, as it is "the most advantageous offer." The contract, which will be financed with own funds, has a duration of two years.
According to the Council, this new contract includes permanent inspection for the correct maintenance of the facilities that make up the children's games in accordance with safety regulations, and the entity is obliged to carry out the contracted work in the network of playgrounds in the municipality and incorporate into the service those of new creation that are planned to be installed during this contract.
"The network of playgrounds that we have implemented in the main residential areas of the municipality require exquisite care and continuous inspection to offer free and quality leisure areas and outdoor spaces to residents, especially our minors," said the mayor of Teguise, Oswaldo Betancort, who pointed out that "as demanded by the parents themselves, projects are being redesigned to add shade and rest areas in public spaces for better use and enjoyment by all."
"For the optimal conservation of street furniture, we appeal to civic-mindedness and citizen collaboration, for which we will enable a new channel in a few days, the Green Line, through which the City Council will directly receive the incidents that may occur and will be able to repair them as soon as possible," the mayor also announced.
