The City Council of Teguise, through the departments of Parks and Roads and Works, led by Eugenio Robayna, continues to execute its plan to condition and improve all the playgrounds in the municipality. After the remodeling of the Los Cocoteros park, the works in three other playgrounds in Tahiche Bajo will also be completed soon.

The Councilor for Parks, Eugenio Robayna, highlights that "the maintenance and improvement works of these children's leisure areas have been carried out with the City Council's own personnel, thanks to the municipal employment plans." Robayna adds that "the consistory has also reinforced the council with an architect technician to complete the remodeling projects of other playgrounds in the municipality."

For her part, the mayoress of Teguise, Olivia Duque, affirms that, "thanks to the Cabildo's Cooperation Plans for this year 2024, we already have the financial file that exceeds 800,000 euros destined to the integral remodeling of the playgrounds of other towns such as Guatiza and the Villa, of which we already have their corresponding projects drafted."

The intention of the Teguise City Council is to improve and modernize the image of all parks and recreation areas, providing them with new shade spaces, swings and other games, as well as a new and more efficient pavement. The works will also allow the improvement of mobility and the elimination of architectural barriers.
