The president of the Cabildo, Pedro San Ginés, has requested a meeting with the bankruptcy administrators of Inalsa and the client's defender due to the numerous complaints and claims that the Island Consumer Information Office is receiving due to billing problems.
San Ginés has demanded a meeting "as soon as possible" to be able to solve the complaints that Inalsa users are raising before the Industry, Commerce and Consumption Council of the Cabildo.
This office is receiving many claims, especially from clients who have received high bills, who request revisions and meter changes, who complain about the lack of notification about the correct application of the domestic use rate or who have noticed breakages in the water supply network.
On the other hand, the Cabildo will propose to the General Assembly of the Island Water Consortium a substantial reduction in water bills in the client's second residence.
