The San Bartolomé City Council celebrates a new milestone in its municipal policy after receiving this Wednesday, January 22, the distinctive of Adhered Intelligent Tourist Destination, a recognition granted by SEGITTUR.
Representing the council, the Councilor for Civil Protection, Citizen Security, Citizen Participation and Tourism, Mamadou Yero Sy Cisse, collected this award during the start of the International Tourism Fair of Madrid (Fitur) and that reflects "San Bartolomé's commitment to a tourism model based on sustainability, technology, innovation, accessibility and governance".
The mayor of the municipality, Isidro Pérez, states that “this recognition fills us with pride and motivates us to continue working to offer a quality experience to our visitors, guaranteeing at the same time the well-being of neighbors”, said the councilor.
San Bartolomé is thus consolidated as part of a network of destinations that lead the transformation of tourism towards smarter and more sustainable models.
