The municipality of San Bartolomé hosted the second edition of the Chinijo Challenge, a fun and demanding obstacle race designed especially for children and young people, promoting sport, self-improvement, and teamwork.

The event, organized with the collaboration of the San Bartolomé City Council and CEIP Ajei, proposed a circuit full of adapted physical challenges, in an environment that invited participation and family enjoyment.

The mayor of San Bartolomé, Isidro Pérez, highlighted the importance of this type of initiative. “From the City Council we continue to bet on activities that promote healthy lifestyle habits from an early age, while generating spaces for coexistence and active leisure for our families,” he detailed.

For his part, the Sports councilor, Alexis Hernández, stressed that “the Chinijo Challenge is much more than a race; it is an experience in which the youngest develop values such as effort, cooperation, and fun through sport”.

The Councillor for Education, Estefanía Luzardo, highlighted that “it is fundamental to promote from the educational sphere activities that promote healthy habits, coexistence and learning in values”.

From the town hall, the good reception of this sports day was highlighted, which once again consolidated itself in the municipal calendar as a recreational and healthy proposal aimed at the municipality's sports youth.
