The San Bartolomé City Council announces the opening of the deadline to apply for subsidies in a competitive concurrence regime for sports activities in the municipality, benefits aimed at supporting and strengthening the sector in its activity, development and travel.

These grants can be requested from July 7 to August 18 and are aimed at covering expenses of municipal sports entities, sports schools and travel of teams and individual athletes.

The mayor of San Bartolomé, Isidro Pérez, stressed that these grants will contribute to reinforcing the City Council's firm commitment to a sports field that is on the rise and that, with adequate economic support, “will be able to continue developing its training activity, improve its performance in competitions and continue to take the name of our municipality to the highest level with the institutional support they deserve”.

Likewise, the Councilor for Sports, Alexis Hernández, detailed that a total of 396,000 euros has been invested for these subsidies aimed at municipal sports entities, contributing to cover daily expenses, material or travel of municipal teams and individual athletes.

Entities and sports schools, among other requirements, must be registered in the Municipal Registry of Sports Entities, while individual athletes must be registered in San Bartolomé, but not under the discipline of a municipal entity or school.
