The insular director of the General Administration of the State in Lanzarote, Pedro Viera, has received the new commander of the Civil Guard Company of Costa Teguise, Antonio José Teruel Alberich, who was accompanied by Captain Armando Fernández Martínez.During the meeting, both parties held a working meeting in which various matters related to citizen security, institutional coordination, and the reinforcement of public services on the island were addressed.
Commander Antonio José Teruel Alberich has an extensive professional career, having previously held the position of Captain Chief of Frontier and Fiscal of the Port of La Luz, where he carried out outstanding work in control, security, and inter-institutional cooperation.
The insular director highlighted the importance of this new stage at the head of the Teguise Coast Company and expressed his full willingness to continue collaborating closely with the Civil Guard to guarantee the safety, well-being, and coexistence of the citizenry.
For his part, commander Teruel Alberich reaffirmed his commitment to public service, closeness to the population, and the strengthening of prevention and response devices for any incident, underlining the relevance of joint work between administrations.
Both parties agreed on the need to continue promoting initiatives that reinforce the security and the confidence of neighbors and visitors, thus contributing to the social and economic development of the island.
