This Wednesday, the working committee for the Titerroy houses took place with the sole presence of the PP, Equo, and NC. The mayor, Astrid Pérez, did not attend either, and those who did were the Councilor for Social Welfare, María Jesús Tovar, the Councilor for Commerce and Tourism of NC, Armando Santana, from the Government group, and from the opposition, only the Councilor of Equo, Esther Gómez, attended.
From the City Council press office, they explain that "Coalición Canaria did not attend due to a scheduling problem, since Echedey Eugenio could attend as spokesperson or Jacobo Lemes as deputy spokesperson. But due to work reasons, Echedey could not attend and Lemes was in a meeting and when he arrived it was already over. But they did intend to go."
According to the Arrecife City Council, "the Committee discussed the draft of the Regulations that will be taken to the Plenary and also to public display so that anyone who wants to make any type of allegation can do so."
However, the attendees of the meeting have a different opinion from the official one. Esther Gómez, the only representative of the opposition, points out that the act that was held this Wednesday "was not a committee because the committee is not currently created. It was a meeting to approve the regulations and the regulations would manage the committee when it is created" and adds that, apart from María Jesús Tovar and Armando Santana, "the secretary of the City Council also attended."
For Armando Santana, it didn't even start because, as he declared to La Voz, "the committee was not held because neither Podemos, nor Coalición Canaria, nor the Socialist Party showed up."
