The Municipal Government of Arrecife, led by Mayor Yonathan de León, has several investments underway to improve the public spaces and green areas of the capital of Lanzarote, with special work on the accesses to the neighborhoods.
The Department of Parks and Gardens, led by Roberto Herbón, is carrying out different actions in the areas of Vía Medular and accesses to the Tinasoria neighborhood during this month of August. From the Gardens Area, within the municipal plan of Arrecife, the green areas are being beautified with new plantations in the roundabouts and flowerbeds.
During this week we are working on the roundabout that connects the neighborhoods of Titerroy and La Vega, along the Vía Medular. Parks and Gardens workers are spreading new layers of rofe to improve the image of this roundabout, and strengthen the development of vegetation.
Likewise, the Area of councilor Roberto Herbón has planted a large section of the flowerbed on León y Castillo street, next to the accesses to the Tinasoria neighborhood. This place has been equipped with an irrigation network that will allow the flowering of the new geraniums planted in this central area of the road that connects Arrecife with Tahíche.
Councilor Roberto Herbón has stated that his Area will "continue to promote the beautification and care of the green spaces of Arrecife."
